Invasion

- The two pronged attack of illness and easter holiday left me bored and with time on my hands so I did as most decade plus fans of WWE have, I re-booked the Invasion.

- HHH (fortunately) and Chris Benoit (unfortunately) were out of action when the Invasion took place and I intend to do this using the roster at the time so I haven't used HHH from the start, Benoit or Goldberg and Sting who joined WWE post invasion however my timeline stretches to Wrestlemania and although the invasion ended in November Naitch and the nWo did return pre-Mania so I shall use them in my timeline but not from the outset. Long ago in a land far, far away .........

- Firstly NO Booker/Bagwell match. I'd keep the WCW/ECW alliance and the way that it formed as that was effective BUT here Stephanie McMahon is in no way the owner of ECW (that straight away made it McMahon Vs. McMahon more than WWF/Alliance).

- No jobbing of Page by Deadman as Page was one of the biggest names that came along so here he is positioned as such, and when WWF bring down an opposition who appear greater than it makes them look stronger in the end. Page, Booker and Van Dam are positioned as top dogs for the Alliance.

- At InVasion the main event would be -
Stone Cold            Booker-T
The Rock              RVD
Kurt Angle            DDP
Chris Jericho        Buh Buh/Bubba
Undertaker           D-Von

I'm not entirely satisfied with that match but it'll do, I would have the Alliance win and have a traitor in their WWF camp, as is what happened, however here Jericho is the traitor NOT Stone Cold as WCW Jericho was better than WWF Jericho.

- Jerry Lynn was seemingly tossed aside during the Invasion but not for me, now I wouldn't have him in the WWF/WCW Title picture however I would certainly place him at IC/US level, keep him strong.

- The title picture was confusing and certainly the number of changes were bemusing but i'd generally keep the belts where they were for the most part so WWF have there's and Rock doesn't win WCW Title from Booker, the titles come into play later as I think Invasion angle is a perfect way to do what WWE did the month after Alliance were put to bed.

- Fast forward to Survivor Series and I would have the big tag match like what did happen but WITHOUT the stip and my main event would shake the business to it's core! In Dec 2001 WWE merged the WCW/WWF Titles to make the Undisputed Championship but I'd book that at Survivor Series with the WCW Champion Booker going over whomever would be WWF Champion, probably Austin.

- Now WCW have the Undisputed Champion but WWF did win the big WCW/WWF Tag match and have WCW on the ropes so what do you do? Have Shane sell Alliance and 50% of WWF to Ric Flair which is pretty much what happened and as they did reveal Naitch on the pst SS RAW and as this is stretching to 'Mania i'll do what WWF did in February 2002 and bring in the nWo to reheat WCW and it puts the WWF Vs. WCW 1-1 in big tag matches.

- At the Jan 7th RAW HHH returned and won the Rumble a few weeks later and I would indeed go that route again but with a different purpose. HHH vows to win the Rumble and go to Wrestlemania 18 to reclaim the Championship for the WWF completely bypassing the HHH/Y2J/Steph rubbish that did occur.

- At Wrestlemania I would bring the curtain down on the Alliance with HHH dethroning Booker and thus getting the Title(s) back in WWF hands and this scenario could also give us the Rock/Hogan match that we got with the same result, even transplant Ric/Vince from Rumble to 'Mania and have say a 3 match series where whoever wins the most wins overall. (HHH, Rock giving WWF the 2 wins needed Vs. Ric's win over Vince making it WWF 2 WCW 1 and ending the Alliance, this would also give more credibility to HHH/Booker)

My RAW is WAR - April 1st 2013

The inaugral RAW is WAR kicked off with Vince McMahon announcing a 16 man tournament to determine the WWF Champion, in the evenings main event Shawn Michaels advanced via Sweet Chin Music and couldn't help rub it in Rey Mysterios face post match after guaranteeing victory earlier in the night.
Samoa Joe impressed with a quick victory over Albert, a Muscle Buster just 3 minutes in ended that one.  Freebirds and LAX had to be pulled apart backstage, LAX were pissed at Freebirds cheating earlier in the night and pounced whilst Hayes was talking to Kevin Kelly.
Eddy Guerrero, Art Barr teamed with Jake 'The Snake' Roberts to defeat Harlem Heat and Kofi Kingston, Eddy got the 3 on Kofi following a Frog Splash.  Preceeding that match the Freebirds picked up a cheap win over LAX via chair shot to Hernandez.
The first tournament match took place between HHH and CM Punk, Punk fought better but succumbed to a Pedigree following a low blow.
Rey thought he had HBK beat.
